How to start racing motocross, and help with my bike?
okay, im 15 and a girl, ive been riding since i was 8. a got a Honda crf 250r about a year ago. i think ive only ridden it on a track about 3 times. last weekend i was riding, crashed and got a concussion haha.
anyways im okay at riding, i keep up with the other riders, im comfortable with jumps and eveything. but how do i get into racing? i ride at milestone mx most of the time, and they have races there every friday night, with all classes. i dont think there is a prize or anything haha.
so how do i go about getting into racing??
and then my bike has some mods already. new rims and hubs, rg3 suspension, and Tokyo mods. its ready to race i would say. but should i add anything else? like a holeshot, or an exhaust system?

oh and also, its a 2006, it doesnt have a steering damper, should i invest in one of those??
Personally I'd say your bike is ready to go, besides perhaps a new exhaust system. But only buy the exhaust system if you're sure it will increase your performance, half of them out there are expensive after market stock systems *cough* SCAM *cough*. Just make sure you look up reviews for anything you put on your bike and make sure it's worth the money. As for the steering damper, personally I wouldn't bother, I've always viewed it as more safety crap I don't need (though I've Never Been concerned with safety, so in that respect perhaps I'm the wrong person to ask), and it's just that little tiny extra bit of weight I hate adding.
Sorry I can't help with the racing bit.
